Starry Night cleansing oil

For all skin types, but with extra benefit for dry skin. Gently removes sunscreen, makeup, sebum and pollution while nourishing the skin without leaving it oily.

MAIN FUNCTIONS:

• Oil cleansing: Helps dissolve makeup, sunscreen and excess surface oil. The emulsifiers help the oils mix with water for rinsing.
• Replenishing: The botanical oils and shea butter esters provide emollient care, helping reduce moisture loss.
• Softening and smoothing: Helps dry skin feel more supple and comfortable. Plant oils are commonly used for these conditioning and moisturising functions.
• Antioxidant support: Tocopherol (vitamin E) helps protect the oil blend against oxidation.
• Aromatic care: Geranium and frankincense provide fragrance. Geraniol, citral, linalool and limonene are fragrance components.

Starry Night began with a mother’s love.
It was created in honour of my mother, and of the mothers and grandmothers before her—women who gave so much of themselves so their children could dream big, reach for the stars and become all they were meant to be.
When God asked Abraham to look up at the stars, He promised that his family would one day be as numerous as the stars in the sky. I love the thought of looking up on a dark night and seeing those stars shine. Sometimes it is in the hardest times that we discover what we are made of—and how brightly we can shine.
This deep-cleansing oil was made for older skin, with prickly pear oil from Montagu, where we live, and Kalahari melon seed oil from Namibia, the home of the man my daughter married. Many oils are combined but these oils come from plants that can endure tough conditions—a little like the mothers who keep giving, loving and believing through life’s challenges.
Starry Night is a tribute to them: to the women who help their children reach for the stars, and to the strength that lets us shine when the night is dark.
